Poetry Witch seeks work that celebrates the life and poetry of Sara Teasdale. Although she enjoyed popularity and acclaim in her lifetime and remains fiercely beloved by readers around the world, Teasdale has all but vanished from official literary history. We suspect, however, that she occupies a secret-not-so-secret place in the private canons of many writers and readers—and if you don’t know her well yet, now’s your chance. We’d love to see reminiscences of your experiences with Teasdale’s poems, readings of her poetry, and creative responses including poems, prose poems, and micro-essays written in tribute. Whether it’s a love letter or loving send-up, send us your best.
